Model Housing Block H
A modern life that unfolds to suit your lifestyle
What is H-Block?
H-Block is a next-generation construction system based on insulated structural panels. Each panel combines a polyurethane foam core with OSB structural facings, creating a lightweight, strong solution designed to function as both a load-bearing and insulating element.
Unlike other conventional systems, H-Block integrates structure and insulation into a single piece. Its LHB joints, also sealed with polyurethane, help reduce thermal bridging and create a continuous, uniform, and energy-efficient building envelope for walls, roofs, slabs, and floors.
Thermal efficiency and better use of space
30-Year Warranty!
One of the key advantages of the H-Block system is its thermal performance. The manual indicates that, depending on the thickness of the PUR core, the panel can achieve U-values between 0.21 and 0.10 W/m²K, making it a particularly attractive solution for high-energy-efficiency homes and even passive house designs.
By combining structural capacity and insulation in a single element, the system allows for a reduction in the overall thickness of the building envelope compared to traditional solutions with comparable performance. This translates into more usable interior space, a better-designed building envelope, and greater thermal comfort year-round.
| Total panel thickness | PUR core thickness | Thermal transmittance U |
|---|---|---|
| 130 mm | 100 mm | 0,21 W/m²K |
| 170 mm | 140 mm | 0,15 W/m²K |
| 230 mm | 200 mm | 0,10 W/m²K |
Durability test
H-Block combines lightness with high structural strength. Its panel system is designed to function as a load-bearing element in walls, roofs, ceilings, and floors, enabling the construction of efficient, solid, and durable homes.
Thanks to its mechanical properties, the system can withstand heavy loads and be used in buildings up to four stories. Furthermore, its excellent weight-to-strength ratio makes it a very attractive solution for extensions, additions, and high-performance roofing.
The process
H-BLOCK® SYSTEM ASSEMBLY
Custom manufacturing
Each H-Block panel is custom-made for each project, ensuring that the finished home arrives on-site with a high level of precision. This reduces unnecessary cuts, minimizes assembly errors, and accelerates the entire construction process from day one.
Base preparation
Before assembly begins, the foundation is prepared and leveled to ensure a stable, dry, and perfectly aligned base. This phase is crucial for the structure to maintain its verticality, durability, and the precise fit of each panel throughout construction.
Quick assembly of the structure
The panels are placed on the base and joined together using LHB connectors and sealed with polyurethane foam. This system allows for the rapid, precise, and clean construction of walls, creating both load-bearing structure and insulation in a single solution.
Structural closure and reinforcement of the assembly
Once the walls are erected, the upper cladding elements are added to unify the entire structure and give it continuity. This step reinforces the entire house and prepares the construction for the floors, roof, and final finishes.
Spaces, installations and efficient finishing
Doors, windows, and installations are handled using a planned construction system to avoid compromising the panel’s strength. The result is a well-sealed, efficient home, ready for interior and exterior finishes, with a much more controlled execution than in traditional construction.
Constructive advantages of the system
H-Block panels are custom-made for each project, which speeds up on-site assembly and reduces the need for cutting, adjustments, and material waste. This industrialized approach allows for faster, cleaner, and more controlled execution than many traditional systems.
Applications and design flexibility
H-Block can be used in load-bearing walls, roofs, ceilings, slabs, and floors. According to the manual, the system’s walls can be used in buildings up to four stories high, demonstrating that it is not just an insulating panel, but a complete structural solution for residential projects.
